I was told it is hitting the Billboards tomorrow for the big weekend and one of the places in in Old Bridge, right near where I grew up!

Hurricane Harbor

Stopped in to see my buds Gene and Dawn down at Hurricane Harbor @ Great Adventure! Kind of disappointed in the water park! I guess I am biased with the new Breakwater Beach park! I just liked it there so much better! I did have a great time with my lil bud Evan who thinks his uncle Rob is COOL! πŸ™‚ Anytime my lil Spiderman Bud! Happy Almost Birthday! πŸ™‚

Van Halen Live 6/23/04 with MSG :) It’s About Time!

vhnd.net – VH News Desk – Great New Photos!

What can I say! Van Halen and Sammy for that matter are BACK! I had a great time going with my long time, since birth pal Mike Gilligan! Mike first introduced me to Van Halen in the 8th grade with the album Diver Down and then 1984. I fell in love with the band and they have been one of my favorite bands ever since. It was also Mike, who I went with, 18 Years ago in 1986 (god i am getting old!) to my first REAL concert, at the very same location at the Meadowlands. We saw Van Halen on the 5150 tour! It was an amazing night! Since then, I have seen the band many times as well as seeing David Lee Roth over the years. Well its been 8 years since VH have toured and I really had missed them!

Knowing all this, you can see I was VERY excited to see the band again. I went into the show asking not to know anything at all. The show turned out to be really good and it was great seeing the band again! Sure I was kind of disappointed that, hey they haven’t done anything with Sammy in 8 years and what the hell, its the same show i saw 8 years ago, with the exception of two new songs! Lots of songs were missing and I wished this reunion tour was not so rushed and they did some more classic Roth era songs as well as some classic Sammy songs!

Cool Shot Of Eddie And Wolfgang From LA Rehersal Show

That aside, it was really good seeing the band back together! I look very forward to seeing what the future will hold with VH! A few highlights of the evening was seeing Eddie’s son come out and jam with Eddie during his guitar solo! The kid is talented and hey, he has the best guitar teacher EVER πŸ™‚ Eddie’s solo was awesome! It is great seeing a living legend “Guitar God” perform again on live on stage! Sammy mentioned Chris Rock was in the house! A few songs later, I saw him by the sound board enjoying the show! Later Sammy came closer above the audience and said HEY CHRIS! His cover was blown! Another highlight was seeing all those VH fans in one location! Seeing all the classic VH shirts was GREAT! I found it funny, my fellow VH brothers brought their 8-12 year old sons to the shows, wearing the same shirts I wore in my youth πŸ™‚ All in all it was a great night and a great time spending it with Gilligan, Jay Tames And Al Roth πŸ™‚ all my high school buds! Thanks for the tickets Chris Lee who could not make it πŸ™

Breakwater Beach – Grand Opening Invite

Breakwater Beach Check out one of 360mm’s hottest, new sites!

Took pictures today at one of my favorite clients Casino Pier at the new Jenkinson’s Breakwater Beach @ Casino Pier in Seaside. Its a great park! A few brand new attractions and it looks GREAT! If anyone would like to go to the grand opening, it is this Thursday, June 17th 12 – 5pm let me know πŸ™‚ . The event is free and I will be covering the event, so come on down!

Indian Larry

Indian Larry’s inspiration was 50’s – 60’s motorcycle clubs, Ed “Big Daddy” Roth and the legendary, Von Dutch. The skilled machinist, metal-sculptor and master motorcycle mechanic won countless custom shows, participated in motorcycle racing, and originated the hard-core motorcycle style – a blend between classic choppers and hotrod race bikes. Indian Larry’s resume includes movie, video, television, and magazine spreads. His eccentric nature combined with a unique and colorful appeal has gathered great interest from media, producing a fanatic fan base. Larry can be found around beautiful women, tattoos, motorcycles, and the Coney Island Polar Bear Club.

Just got back from covering the Tattoo show in Atlantic City, Drawin’ In The Wildcard! Cool show, def not my bag and NO, I did not get any PAINT! Met Indian Larry, who I called Crazy Larry for the rest of the night πŸ™‚ Cool Guy! His website ROCKS! Shout out to My Bud Dirty Harry! FUEL ROCKS! and the boys from Kramer Beverage!

Harry Potter 3

Well I did get a chance to catch the latest Harry Potter movie, it did not disappoint. The movie in true Harry Potter fashion got u going through the entire movie like an amusement park ride! I loved the special effects, especially the creatures in the movie. I did notice however a difference in the way the characters reacted together. I think this is mainly because of a new director. I am a big fan of the past director Chris Columbus. I like the way he develops his characters in his movies and the way you learn about each character and their relationship to others, but all in all I enjoyed the movie greatly, so much I am starting to READ yes READ the HP series πŸ™‚

The last Sopranos ROCKED! I LOVE that show! Looking forward to next season and disappointed there are only 10 episodes left πŸ™ SUCKS!

The Sopranos Finale

SPOILER!!! DON’T READ IF YOU DIDN’T SEE THE SECOND TO LAST EPISODE!

Excite News: “NEW YORK (AP) – Poor Adriana: Scuttling on all fours across dead leaves in a forest until Silvio, Tony Soprano’s consigliere, popped her with two shots. That was Adriana’s ghastly end on the most recent episode of ‘The Sopranos,’ underlining how business is business in a mob family – even for Ade, a terribly reluctant FBI informant whose own fiance, Soprano soldier Christopher Moltisanti, set in motion the hit Tony ordered.

‘The Sopranos’ airs its fifth-season finale Sunday at 9 p.m. EDT on HBO (unavailable for preview). Then 10 more episodes in 2005 will close this magnificent saga.”

Can’t Wait Till Sunday! Jos will not see the episoide and wants me to wait! Don’t think I can do it! Hey I can watch it TWICE πŸ™‚ Catch up or review! Click The Link! MY WORLD πŸ™‚

LETS GO METS

LETS GO METS! TODD DON’T RETIRE πŸ™‚

A Delayed Farewell to Leo :(

On a sad note πŸ™ one of my shows got the boot! Call For Help (ok I am a total geek πŸ™‚ ) got the boot. TECH TV Pretty much got the boot as well, one of my favorite channels. Most of the shows are now gone with G4-Tech TV newly launched! The Screen Savers is still around, but Leo Laporte will surely be missed! I thank him for the knowledge he has given me over the years. He is a true inspiration the way he teaches people. Here is a clip of his farewell message on his site. Check out the link to check out his typepad. Special thanks to my pal Elo for turning me on to ZDTV from the start!

The Laporte Report: “Yesterday was one of the saddest days of my life. We put Call for Help to bed Wednesday. You’ll see the last episode on Friday, but for those of us who have been making the show for six years a huge and important chunk of our lives is over.”
