Coors Light Billboard 2006

Summer is here again and that can only mean one thing, the new Coors Light Billboard is up! I think it came out pretty cool this year. Jacqui over at Shore Point Distributors came up with the concept and tag line and I did the shoot this year at The Headliner a few months ago. My main man Chris helped me piece and put everything together and there it is πŸ™‚ It still is a great thrill to drive up to it for the first time and see something you worked on larger than life! Its also a great feeling overtime you drive by it and see it as well! I notice something different every time πŸ™‚ Pretty Amazing!

WPLJ Summer Kick Off With The Beach Boys

Another Year, Another WPLJ Summer Kick Off with Scott And Todd! πŸ™‚ This is at least my 7th year covering this massive Jenkinson’s event. In the past, I have shot it for Jenks, but the past two years, Coors Light have hired me to cover the event. It kind of SUCKS waking up at 5am, just working the Thursday Night Kick Off at Jenks the night before with my boys, Big Orange Cone, but I grin and bear it and get down there! I have seen Melissa Melissa Etheridge, Hootie And The Blowfish, The Go Go’s, Train, Goo Goo Dolls, Bowling For Soup and this year, The Beach Boys!

At first, I was a little disappointed with the musical guest. I was like, what the hell! Looking back at all these other amazing artists, I kind of felt ripped off! After going to the event and the more I thought of it, who would be a more perfect band to kick off summer! I was thinking, come on, these guys are like legends in the music industry! I have grown up liking the Beach Boys over the years and I guess I forgot how many songs I actually know and enjoyed! After seeing them live and meeting them, I was in this total Beach Boys mood for the past 2 weeks! They were actually really good and Mike Love was a great guy! I downloaded their greatest hits CD and have been enjoying it ever since!

I was lucky enough to be ask to create and shoot this years Coors Light Billboard! It was my 6th billboard I created, (4th one for Coors Light) and I think it is the best one to date! With the help of Jacqui helping out with the concept and my AMAZING KICK ASS graphic designer Chris, the billboard came out AWESOME! As usual it was pretty cold when we shot the girls 2 months ago but the shoot came out really nice! We also incorporated Coors Light’s MC BJ who does an awesome job MC’ing out at a lot of the Coors events!

Indian Larry

Indian Larry’s inspiration was 50’s – 60’s motorcycle clubs, Ed “Big Daddy” Roth and the legendary, Von Dutch. The skilled machinist, metal-sculptor and master motorcycle mechanic won countless custom shows, participated in motorcycle racing, and originated the hard-core motorcycle style – a blend between classic choppers and hotrod race bikes. Indian Larry’s resume includes movie, video, television, and magazine spreads. His eccentric nature combined with a unique and colorful appeal has gathered great interest from media, producing a fanatic fan base. Larry can be found around beautiful women, tattoos, motorcycles, and the Coney Island Polar Bear Club.

Just got back from covering the Tattoo show in Atlantic City, Drawin’ In The Wildcard! Cool show, def not my bag and NO, I did not get any PAINT! Met Indian Larry, who I called Crazy Larry for the rest of the night πŸ™‚ Cool Guy! His website ROCKS! Shout out to My Bud Dirty Harry! FUEL ROCKS! and the boys from Kramer Beverage!

Coors Light Summer Jam

I am posting from my Pocket PC! I love this thing. Had the Coors Light Summer Jam last night. It was pretty wild! All my buddys from the Coors world were there! I must have known at least 200 people! It was nuts walking accross the bar with everyone saying hi to you every 2 mins. It was a great event! Check out the shots on www.njcoors.com I even made it on there! I am lucky having met so many GREAT PEOPLE!
